She dreamed of walking into the event in a show-stopping gown—rich burgundy fabric, structured bodice, dramatic sleeve, and a slit that turned heads. The photo online promised luxury and confidence. But when the dress arrived, the only thing it shared with the original was the vague idea of sleeves.
