#3: Workers Arrived on Unmarked “Janet” Flights
To keep Area 51 hidden, workers weren’t allowed to simply drive to the base. Instead, they boarded unmarked white airplanes later nicknamed “Janet flights.” These aircraft shuttled employees from Las Vegas to the restricted runway at Groom Lake, creating one of the most secretive commuter flights in the world.

The flights had no branding, no public schedule, and no official acknowledgment for decades. Passengers were sworn to silence about their jobs, their destination, and even the existence of the airline itself. Just getting to work at Area 51 was a classified process from start to finish.
