#5: Area 51 Became the Birthplace of Stealth Technology
Before stealth aircraft became mainstream, the earliest concepts were quietly tested at Area 51. Engineers experimented with strange shapes, radar-absorbing materials, and unusual designs that didn’t look like anything flying at the time. Some prototypes were intentionally odd to confuse radar — and anyone who spotted them.

These early stealth tests created bizarre radar signatures and unusual flight patterns that baffled observers. To outsiders, the aircraft looked like they were defying physics. To insiders, they were simply prototypes of the next generation of invisible military technology.
