#5: Evander Holyfield
Holyfield was renowned for his lionhearted spirit. He often faced bigger, stronger heavyweights and never showed fear. Known for fighting through cuts, swelling, and brutal punishment, he refused to quit no matter how battered he became. Holyfield’s toughness was rooted in pure determination and an indomitable will to keep fighting forward.

In 1996, Holyfield battled Mike Tyson as a heavy underdog. Tyson’s power was feared, but Holyfield absorbed crushing shots and kept pressing forward, breaking Tyson’s rhythm. He stopped Tyson in the 11th round, stunning the world. That victory proved Holyfield’s courage and grit against one of boxing’s most feared champions.
